Highlights: Singapore city tour along with Sentosa Island and Universal Studios rides. Also enjoy hopping at some of the best malls and shops and a peep into Singapore’s past at Fort Siloso and in visits to colonial buildings.

Day 1: Singapore City Tour: Start the City tour after breakfast. Go past and visit colonial buildings to learn Singapore’s past. Visit the Parliament, the Supreme Court, and City Hall. Singapore has a thriving population of Chinese people, who are followers of Buddhism and Taoism. There are several such temples in the city. Make stops at some of the prominent Buddhist-Taoist temples to have a closer look. Go for lunch at Chinatown or Little India.
After lunch, visit Singapore Botanic Gardens, a 156-year-old tropical garden to be honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided tour to rainforest part of the Gardens. There are smaller gardens within this – Ginger garden, foliage garden, fragrant garden, National Orchid garden, bonsai garden, healing garden, sun garden, and evolution garden.
Afterwards, go for some shopping at Orchard Road. You can choose to have dinner at the Raffles Hotel and taste of the famous Singapore Sling at Long Bar. Overnight at your hotel in Singapore.
Day 2: Safari Tours: After breakfast visit Singapore Zoo, where natural barriers such as streams, rock walls and vegetations have been uniquely used to separate the animals from visitors. Counted among one of the most beautiful zoos in the world, you can enjoy playful Asian small-clawed otters at Rainforest Walk and Gibbons at Gibbon Island. Look at the orangutans and watch out for Californian sea lion show off his water skills at the Splash Safari Show. Do visit Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia exhibit to watch out baboons and other creatures. Let your kids enjoy their time in the Kidzworld.
After lunch at Singapore Zoo, head off to Jurong Bird Park. It has a nice variety of birds from all over the world. Particularly impressive is the collection of hornbills and toucans. Varieties of flamingos are also there in the Park.
Head to the famous Night Safari, which starts after 7pm. A round of the world’s first nocturnal zoo, managed by Wildlife Reserves Singapore, is a pleasant activity. A considerable number of threatened species can be seen here during a tram ride through the zoo.
Have dinner afterwards at one of the numerous restaurants in Singapore. Overnight at your hotel in Singapore.
Day 3: Sentosa Island – Universal Studio: Sentosa is a favorite weekend getaway for Singaporeans, but also loved by the foreign tourists. You can spend your time at one of the three beaches in Sentosa, which also houses a few 5-star hotels.
Take a scenic cable car ride to Mount Faber, and enjoy Dolphin Lagoon after spending considerable time looking at the Underwater World. Make it a point to visit Fort Siloso, something people often ignore. A visit to Fort Siloso gives a glimpse of the formation of Singapore and life and struggle against the British. You can choose to visit some of the other attractions at Sentosa like The Merilon, Madam Tussaud’s , Butterfly Park etc.
Visit Universal Studios taking a monorail from Sentosa. Enjoy the themed zones at the Universal Studios. There are more than 20 attractions in themed zones. Some of these are called Lost World, Ancient Egypt, New York, Hollywood, Madagascar and Far Far Away. Of the rides, two are water themed and five are thrilling roller coasters.
Towards the evening, get monorail and reach Beach Station of Sentosa. One of the beaches is the venue for Wings of Fire show, which brings the curtains down on the evening. Head back to hotel and have a nice dinner somewhere of your liking. Overnight at your hotel in Singapore.
Day 4: Singapore- Onward destination: After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for Singapore Changi International Airport. There are numerous duty-free shops at the airport. Indulge in some shopping activities and take flight to your onward destination.
