Day 1: Bangkok – Phuket: On arrival at Bangkok International airport, transfer to take a domestic flight to Phuket. On arrival in Phuket, check into a hotel or resort. Relish Thai dishes and enjoy lovely sunset at Patong Beach. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 2: Phuket: Spend the whole day in Phuket enjoying the fabulous beaches here. Swim in the pool, relax by the sea, try dishes at the eateries on the beach, enjoy some drinks, and if interested, try Jet Ski in the bay.
Day 3: Phuket: Set out to explore Phuket by a car or on a bike. Go to Kata Beach, which is situated in the southwest corner of the island. Keep driving along several beaches in Phuket. You can have some fun on Karon, Patong and Kamala beaches. Drive up to the western coast. Look and admire the beauty of Nai Thon Beach.
After the beaches, head inland and visit Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. Make it a point to visit some other places on the island, including Heroines’ Monument and Wat Phra Thong. You can take a stroll along the beaches. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 4: Day Trip to Ko Phi Phi: Start the day with a visit to Ko Phi Phi. Almost every tour operator you find in Phuket organizes day trips to Ko Phi Phi. This is a couple of hours by boat from Phuket. Karst outcrops can be seen rising from Maya Bay. You can snorkel and explore the Bay at Phi Phi Leh , a small uninhabited island. This has been the place of film shootings in the past.
Phi Phi Don is the other stop. After a lunch here you can clamber up to the view point. Afterwards return to Phuket, and enjoy a nice dinner at one of the nice joints on one of the several beaches. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 5: Phuket – Koh Samui: After breakfast check out and drive to the airport to take a flight to Koh Samui. Check out the difference in sand and sea colour between Phuket and Koh Samui from the flight itself. Landing at Koh Samui airport may give you a feeling as if you landed in Disneyland.
Drive to the hotel or resort you are booked into. Settle into your resort. Enjoy a massage at the resort or go out walking in the afternoon along the beaches. Have a nice dinner at one of the several restaurants or resorts. Overnight in Koh Samui.
Day 6: Ko Samui: After breakfast, hire a car and start exploring the island’s ring road. Look at the phallic rocks, mummified monks, snake and monkey shows, waterfalls and elephants. Have a fun filled day.
Return after an exhausted day and go for a spa treatment at the resort you are staying. Or else you can opt for Tamarind Springs on the Lamai Beach. This is quite a popular choice for spa treatment in Koh Samui.
Have a nice dinner in the evening at one of the beaches and retire to your room afterwards. Overnight in Koh Samui.
Day 7: Ko Samui: After breakfast set out for a tour of the Ang Thong Marine National Park. This is an immensely beautiful area. You can go and paddle a kayak through turquoise waters of the bay. Go and scramble to the top of a hill for a breathtaking view.
Return after the day trip to the Marine National Park exhausted. To rejuvenate opt for a round of spa treatment at one of the many spas or at the resort you are staying. Have a nice dinner at your resort or walk along to the beach to eat at any one of the many places. If you want to party around, you can find some nice places. Overnight in Koh Samui.
Day 8: Ko Samui – Bangkok: After breakfast drive to the airport and take the flight to Bangkok. From there you can proceed for your desired destination.

Highlight: This tour combines the city life with ample time to have and frolic on Thailand beaches. It also takes you to architectural wonders of old Thailand, reminding how the country has been a cultural hot spot for a long period.
Day 1: Bangkok: Arrive in Bangkok and straight away head to the hotel. After some relaxation, start a tour of Bangkok’s Old City. Look at the stunning Grand Palace and Wat Po’s Reclining Buddha. Later in the day, hire a long tail boat and spend a couple of hours exploring the canals. This is a good way to get a peek into how common folks used to live in wooden stilt houses along the water’s edge.
Have a relaxed evening and go for dinner at one of the numerous restaurants in Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok: Start the day with a tour of Chinatown, sampling some of the delicious food along the way. Shopping enthusiasts may explore the various malls of Bangkok. These are great places to look for new fashion trends in clothes, jewelry and other accessories. Those interested in watching movies can hit movie theaters. One can also head over to Lumphini Stadium for a Thai boxing match in the evening. If you are too tired, go for a relaxing Thai massage at one of the famous spa and massage centers. Overnight in Bangkok.
Days 3 – 5: Krabi: There are too many beach options in Thailand. Koh Samui, Phuket, and Krabi are all good bets as these are connected by direct flights to Bangkok. We are including Krabi as part of this itinerary though, as this is one of the best places for someone interested in outdoor and adventure activities.
In Krabi enjoy relaxing afternoons and cheap beachside massages at gorgeous Phra Nang Beach. Rock-climbing on limestone cliffs is something you must experience here. Visit the nearby Railay beach and watch glorious sunset.
Go on island hopping tour from here. Do not let go the chance of kayaking on Hong Island, which has a spectacular powder white sand beach and a coral reef with colourful reef fish. The island has an enclosed lagoon only accessible through a narrow passageway between two sheer cliffs. Go for kayaking into the lagoon going around the island.
Indulge in kayaking also to explore vast and peaceful mangrove-lined canyons and caves in a silent boat. This gives you the opportunity to see birds, monkeys and lizards up close. Even those who cannot or do not want to paddle, can hire guides to paddle for you.
You can also enjoy swim and snorkeling at Tup Island and Chicken Island. Phranang Beach is also quite beautiful and a good place to swim. There are places you can take training in Scuba diving from experienced instructors.
You can make a day trip to Ko Phi Phi as well. This is often referred to as the jewel of the Andaman Sea and shot to fame with the shooting of films here.
Amidst all these beaches and nature do not forget to visit the night market in Krabi town. You can taste a variety of food items here. In Krabi you can actually also take a class in Thai cooking.
Day 6: Chiang Mai: Check out from the hotel after breakfast and head to the airport for a flight to Chiang Mai, one of the earlier capitals of Thailand.
Check into hotel on arrival in Chiang Mai and grab lunch. Afterward, stroll around the Old City. Check out for Wat Prasingh, located at the center of the old city. It is the largest wat in the city, and dates to 1345 when an ancient king built it in his father’s honor.
Keep your evening for shopping at the famous night market of Chiang Mai. When you’re finished shopping, you can go to watch a Thai boxing fight at the stadium on the premises. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 7: Chiang Mai: Start the day with a visit to the dazzling hilltop Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, considered sacred by the Thais. This is 15km away from the town and from the top you can have nice view of the town.
On the way back to Chiang Mai, drop in at the seven-spire temple called Wat Chedi Yot. Chiang Mai is famous for its massage and cooking schools, so if you’re interested in trying a class in either—or just getting a massage—this is the place to do it. Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 8: Chiang Mai – Lampang – Chiang Mai: After breakfast head to Lampang. Lampang has some beautiful wooden-house architecture. Most revered of the temples here is Wat Phra That Lampang, country’s oldest wooden building. You can also visit Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao, supposed to be built in 14th or 15th Century.
Day 9: Around Chiang Mai: Start the day after breakfast and head to Huay Tung Tao, a reservoir popular with tourists and local alike. Situated just 10km from the town, this is surrounded by hills and a nice place to swim in. Or else, you can hire a huge tube to lounge on in the water. Place order for your lunch from the small eateries available there.
In the afternoon, pay a visit to Doi Inthanon National Park to enjoy some of the best great views across the mountains toward Myanmar. This is also a great place for bird-watching and hiking to waterfalls. Wildlife like Asiatic black bears is found in the Park as well.
Day 10: Chaing Mai – Bangkok: After breakfast you can do some quick last minute shopping at the city’s markets like Pratunam, Phahurat, and the weekend-only Chatuchak. Afterwards, head straight to the airport to catch your flight to Bangkok. Take connecting flight to your desired destination from there.
